NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING
Rural Water District No. 3, Nemaha County, Kansas will hold its 47th Annual Meeting of the Participating Members at 6:00 PM, Monday February 11, 2019 at 905 US Highway 36, Seneca, Kansas. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the business of the Annual Meeting. The agenda includes the election of three participating members to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
At each Annual Meeting three participating members are elected to serve a three-year term on the nine-member Board of Directors. Terms are expiring for current Board members Dan Dalinghaus, Sabetha; Dale Mueting, Centralia; and Bryan Schmitz, Baileyville.
Dale Mueting, Centralia, has decided to not seek another term. Dale has served on the RWD No. 3 Board of Directors for six years and served as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the past three years. Thank you Dale!
Nominating committee members for this year are Dale Mueting, Centralia and Richard (Andy) Bestwick, Sabetha. The nominees from the committee for election for a three-year term on the Board of Directors will be:
Dan Dalinghaus, Sabetha: Dan and his wife Janice live in the Sabetha area, and have four children. Dan is location manager for Ag Partners Coop, Sabetha. He has served on the RWD No. 3 Board for the past nine years and is currently serving as Vice-Chairman. He is an active member and ministry volunteer at Sacred Heart Church, Sabetha. His other interests include hunting, fishing and travel.
Bryan Schmitz, Baileyville: Bryan and his wife Janet live in the Baileyville area, and have Three daughters and a son. Bryan has a degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University. Bryan’s occupation is Insurance Agency Sales and Management. Bryan has served on the Sacred Heart Church Council; is a active member of the Baileyville Knights of Columbus, serving two years as Grand Knight; and a member of the Seneca Chamber of Commerce, serving two years as chairman. He has served on the Rural Water District No. 3 Board of Directors for three years.
Jason E. Stallbaumer, Centralia: Jason and his wife Ann live in the Centralia area, and have four children: Mayda, Mathew, Monica and Mason. Jason has lived his entire life in the Centralia community, he is a rural mail carrier, along with owner/operator of a beef and grain operation. He is active member of St. Patricks’ Church Corning, and currently serving on the parish council; Is an active member of the Knights of Columbus; served on the Nemaha County Fair Board for three years; and served Centralia FFA advisory council for 15 years.
